ANNE LAUVERGEON, née le 2 août 1959 à Dijon, en Côte-d'Or, est une dirigeante française d'entreprises.

Ancienne sherpa du président François Mitterrand, ANNE LAUVERGEON est nommée en 1999 à la tête de la Cogema, qu'elle transforme en groupe nucléaire public, sous le nom d'Areva, dont elle est présidente du directoire de 2001 à 2011.

En 1995, elle rejoint le secteur bancaire, et devient associée-gérante de la banque franco-américaine Lazard Frères.

En mars 1997, ANNE LAUVERGEON est nommée directrice générale adjointe d’Alcatel, avant d’entrer au comité exécutif du groupe.

Contre ses autorités de tutelle et le milieu industriel, elle décide de construire un groupe nucléaire intégré, de l'exploitation au retraitement en passant par la fabrication de réacteurs, en rachetant à Alcatel ses participations dans Framatome. Avec d'autres sociétés, elle fonde en juillet 2001 la nouvelle entité qu'elle baptise Areva, du nom de l'abbaye espagnole Arevalo. ANNE LAUVERGEON en prend la tête, entrant ainsi dans le cercle très restreint des femmes dirigeantes de groupes d’envergure internationale.

Surnommée « Atomic Anne » , elle entraîne son groupe dans un développement hors de France, et pour mener à bien son expansion dans un secteur international très concurrentiel, ANNE LAUVERGEON s'appuie sur un réseau influent, constitué notamment de membres du corps des mines, de personnalités françaises et étrangères rencontrées lors de son passage à l'Élysée et au sein de think tanks internationaux, mais aussi sur les syndicats.

En 2018, elle est nommée co-chairman du Comité de l'Innovation du MEDEF.
En 2020, elle fait partie de la commission Spéciale Relance du MEDEF chargée de préparer la reprise post-Covid-19.

ANNE LAUVERGEON is a French businesswoman, and was CEO of Areva/ Orano 2001–2011.

Born in Dijon, Côte-d'Or, in 1978 she attended the École normale de jeunes filles to pass the Agrégation in physics. Then she entered the Corps des Mines. In 1983 she enrolled in her first vocational course with the Corps de Mines, in the iron and steel industry, at Usinor. A second vocational course, in 1984, took place with the Commissariat à l'énergie atomique, where she studied chemical safety in Europe.

From 1985 to 1988, ANNE LAUVERGEON was with the l'Inspection générale des carrières (IGC). In 1990, she was placed in charge of the mission for the international economy and foreign trade by French President François Mitterrand. The following year, she became assistant secretary general. She was then named "sherpa", i.e. personal representative to the president, and charged with preparing international meetings such as the G7 summit. In 1995, she joined the banking sector, and became a managing partner of Lazard. In March 1997, she was named general director of Alcatel, before becoming part of the group's executive committee.

In 2009, ANNE LAUVERGEON was ranked by Forbes magazine as the ninth-most powerful woman in the world.

In June 2010, she was attended the Bilderberg conference in Sitges, Spain.

She is as well member of Trilateral Commission.
